The Effect of Laser Grooved Implant Retained Overdenture on Bone Height Changes

ABSTRACT Purpose: The aim of the study was to evaluate crestal bone height changes around laser grooved implants with mandibular overdenture. Materials and Methods: sample comprised 10 completely edentulous male patients age range between 40-60 years. In each patient, two were placed in interforaminal area. Implants exposed after three months healing, ball abutments used retain dentures. Crestal evaluated using long cone paralleling technique 0, 6 12 months. Data collected, tabulated statistically evaluated. Results: results showed that mean change marginal throughout follow-up period 1.12 mm. T-test insignificant difference regarding effect time on from baseline months, m as P > 0.05, Conclusion: From this study, it could be concluded implant retained overdenture minimal 1 year prosthetic loading.
